Dear Arpit,

I am shocked and sad. Even though I only knew you for a few months, you have made a lasting impression: When we had our first call to get to know each other, there barely was a second of silence, the time just flew by. We had many topics to talk about, even though we did not know each other before. You were kind and immediately offered to share your knowledge with me. Thanks for making me feel welcome to the tribe and being a positive, helpful and open presence.
Everyone here at work is saddened by the news, you will be greatly missed and our tribe simply will not be the same without you.

My thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to your family and friends.

I didn't get the chance to meet you personally cause I recently join the ING family in March.
But what I can say is that the silence caused by this terrible announcement and all those reactions I heard and I can read right now, it means a lot about the person you ARE, an extremely appreciated and very professional person and colleague.

What a shock... no words can describe this loss. We have not only lost a great colleague but above all a wonderful, inspiring personality. I will always remember the smile on your face when you walked by, the greetings in the morning and the willingness the help others.

We have been working together those 3 last months. It was a great pleasure to work with you and being in contact with you each day. You were really a great colleague, always helping and listening to my requests. It's a pity we couldn't meet each other's in real life. I just noticed we were born the same date, we hadn't enough time to discover that. Hoping you can now rest in peace. All my thoughts are for you and your family. 

Hey Arpit, the news of your passing is extremely difficult to grasp. As has been said a number of times in your memory today, I also remember you as a very helpful person, looking for solutions with a smile on your face. I will also always fondly remember our week in India. For us Europeans it was a discovery and for you the opportunity to guide us, with a very strong sense of pride. We will all greatly miss you. I am deeply saddened by the news of your passing, it feels like a punch in the gut and it's really hard for me to talk about you in "past tense". You were a great colleague and friend who was always willing to step in and step up when things needs to get done and be fixed. I never heard you complain about anything. You were always positive.

I am incapable of brilliant words to express my feelings about your passing, but I feel privileged to have had the honour to work with you these past months. Your impact within our Tribe is one that we will remember for a long time (For example, how else would we talk about our new online revolving flow without re-living our turbulence journey together to build it). What a shock. My deepest condolences to all your loved ones. You were like a sunshine, always smiling, positive and very kind, always willing to help out. I will for instance never forget the passion you showed when teaching our non-IT colleagues more about PEGA. Or how you enjoyed Diwali and other fun activities within our Tribe. Thanks for sharing your culture with us, for the nice conversations we had and for the smile on your face I used to see every morning when I entered the office.

You will be remembered, rest in peace.

So hard and sudden having talked to you just a few weeks ago. Difficult to grasp. You were a positive, upbeat pro-active and gentle person always willing to help out others. You will be missed. My sincere condolences for your family.

What a terrible loss that you will no longer be around us. We did not have the chance to work together often, but I was always amazed with the persistence with which you did your job and helped Business Lending achieving even the most difficult results. All colleagues valued you very much and loved working with you, as you were always kind, helpful and approachable.

Arpit, you will be missed a lot. 

Feeling so sad. Arpit was part of the ING team when we were travelling from Belgium to Amsterdam once a month, we usually had team lunch all together with the ING-engineers. Beginning of May 2021, he was still helping to get access to PEGA BLend in Belgium. He was a smart, knowledgeable and a friendly guy. R.I.P., Arpit. All my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
